Like you (most likely), I wasn’t trained to run a music ministry, shepherd people, manage databases like PCO, or lead creatives (yeah—that’s a whole thing).

I was on a totally different path… but God had other plans.

When I was finishing law school, I had no idea that within a few short years I’d fall deeply in love with Jesus—and end up on the largest worship platform in America as a worship-leader-in-training. I even got to sing at Yankee Stadium and in every single NBA arena in the U.S.

That season changed the course of my life. And when God sent me out to build with what I’d learned, I said, “Yes, Sir.”

And man—I feel like I’ve seen it all. Lol.

I’ve built worship teams from the ground up and had to find creative solutions to big issues—sometimes so big that Sunday literally wouldn’t happen if I didn’t figure it out. But God! He gives us witty inventions and the clarity to pare things down to their barest elements. That kind of thinking sets us free to imagine bold, outside-the-box solutions.

I’ve also inherited struggling teams and been tasked with the tough work of course-correcting a ship already in motion. Over time, I’ve developed strategic (and sometimes genius) ways to turn the dial incrementally—ultimately landing the team in a place that’s both safe and flourishing.

I’ve done some really horrible things I’m not proud of at times and I’ve also loved people fully and been someone I am proud of, through long, faithful seasons. That’s my testimony.
